The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has opened the online application window
for the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO)
Mains Examination 2023.
Candidates who have successfully cleared the preliminary exam can now fill out the
Mains Online Form through the official UPPSC website
www.uppsc.up.nic.in.
The Mains application process began on 12 February 2025 and will continue until
25 February 2025. Candidates must complete their form submission, fee payment,
and document upload within the given dates to avoid last-minute issues.

Application Fee
- General / OBC / EWS Candidates: ₹200/-
- SC / ST Candidates: ₹80/-
- PH Candidates: ₹25/-
Candidates can pay the examination fee online through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
The fee once paid is non-refundable.
Eligibility Criteria for Mains
Only those candidates who have qualified the UPPSC RO/ARO Prelims 2023 are eligible to apply
for the Mains Examination. Candidates must also ensure they meet the original eligibility criteria
mentioned in the official notification.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
- Typing knowledge of Hindi and English is required for certain posts.
Age Limit (as per 01 July 2023)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
Upper age relaxation applies as per UP government rules for reserved categories.
Selection Process
The selection process for UPPSC RO/ARO 2023 consists of three stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Completed)
- Mains Examination
- Typing Test / Skill Test (where applicable)
The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in the Mains exam and skill test (if required).
