Application Fee
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹500/-
- SC / ST / Female / Minority / Ex-Servicemen: ₹250/-
The fee must be paid online through debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking.
A portion of the fee will be refunded to candidates who appear in the sports trials.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Group C (Level 4/5): Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Group C (Level 2/3): Passed 12th (+2 Stage) or equivalent examination.
- Group D (Level 1): Passed 10th (Matriculation) or ITI or equivalent qualification.
Sports Qualification
Candidates must have represented India or their State / University in recognized National or International tournaments.
Events include Athletics, Wrestling, Football, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Badminton, Hockey, Weightlifting, and others.
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
Note: No relaxation in upper age limit for Sports Quota as per Railway guidelines.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on performance in the following stages:
- Sports Trials / Performance Assessment
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Final merit will be prepared based on sports achievements and marks scored in the trials.
Candidates who fail to attend the trials will not be considered for final selection.
