Application Fee
- General / OBC Candidates: ₹500/-
- SC / ST / Female / Ex-Servicemen / Minorities / EWS: ₹250/-
Fee can be paid online through debit card, credit card, UPI, or internet banking.
Part of the fee will be refunded after participation in the written examination.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Group C: Passed Class 12th (+2 Stage) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Group D: Passed Class 10th (Matriculation) or ITI or equivalent qualification.
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)
- Group C: 18 to 30 years
- Group D: 18 to 33 years
Age Relaxation: OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, PwBD – 10 years as per Railway norms.
Scouting / Guiding Qualification
Candidates applying under this quota must fulfill at least one of the following eligibility conditions:
- President’s Scout / Guide / Rover / Ranger Certificate holder
- Active member of a Scouts or Guides organization for at least 5 years
- Attended two State-level events or one National-level event
Relevant certificates should be issued by competent authorities as per the rules of the Bharat Scouts and Guides.
Selection Process
Selection under the Scouts and Guides quota will be based on the following:
- Written Examination (Objective Type – 40 Marks)
- Assessment of Scouting/Guiding Qualifications (60 Marks)
- Document Verification
Candidates must bring all original certificates for verification during the final stage.
